Great Wolf Lodge Is Temporarily Closed Through May 19th, 2020

We have always considered the guests who visit our resorts as members of our family, or as we like to say, part of our pack. As a pack, we care for and look out for one another. This is especially true as we enter a new, unprecedented phase of responses to the COVID-19 outbreak with government and health department officials initiating community safety measures that call for social distancing, restrictions on group gatherings and shelter-in-place directives. Like you, we are actively supporting these efforts as we work to ensure the health and safety of our Guests and Pack Members and assist with the overall well-being of the communities we serve. Therefore, in response, we have decided to extend the closure of our resorts through May 19, 2020, and moving forward accepting new reservations for stays May 20 and onward.

During our closure, and after re-opening, we will continue to maintain several enhanced sanitation measures including:

Frequent cleansing of public and pack member areas of the resort with hospital-grade disinfectant solutions.
Ensure room attendants pay special attention to disinfecting high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, in-room phone, power outlets and television remotes.
Increased availability of hand-sanitation stations throughout the resort
Encouraging all guests and pack members to wash hands frequently with soap and warm water.
Actively encouraging pack members or guests who feels sick to stay home.
We also pride ourselves on our industry leading waterpark filtration and chemistry systems. The CDC shared that there is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread through the use of pools or hot tubs, and that proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.

We know this has been a challenging and disruptive time for families across the communities we serve. We know because Great Wolf Lodge, our pack members, and their families are all members of the same community. We appreciate for your continued support, and encourage families to take those important family getaways after we emerge from these challenging times.

FOR STAYS WITH ARRIVALS FROM APRIL 2ND THROUGH MAY 19TH, 2020

We want to allow families additional time to assess their personal situation and ability to travel, therefore we decided to extend our $50 per night resort credit offer. Now guests who missed their scheduled stay due to our extended closure have until the day before their original stay date to transfer their booking to a later date within calendar year 2020 and receive the $50 per night credit. Please call us to modify your reservation.

A couple of important updates to the special policy accommodations previously shared:

We will not automatically process refunds on April 2nd as previously communicated. In order to provide families with additional time to consider rescheduling with the resort credit offer, we will instead process a full refund on the day your stay was originally scheduled to start.
We know some guests secured rooms in late-April and May using special discount codes not transferable to other calendar dates. While we cannot guarantee our ability to match discounts exactly, we are committed to help you find another date at a comparable rate before the year’s end. Notably, our team is able to offer a similar discount for weekday stays before June 25.
If your family decides not to continue with a trip to Great Wolf Lodge this year, and you prefer your refund to be processed immediately, please email us at refund@greatwolf.com with your name, confirmation number and original stay dates. If your stay is within the closure window, we will begin processing your cancellation upon receipt of your request and refund your deposit. . Please keep in mind it may take 7-10 days to appear as a credit on your account.

ACCESS TO GREAT WOLF AT HOME FAMILY ACTIVITIES

Lastly, but importantly during this difficult time, we encourage families to take steps to maintain their emotional well-being, as well as their physical wellness. Take time to connect as a family with activities such as a game night, baking challenges, arts and craft projects, or movie nights. We have some ideas here, based off family-favorite activities at our resort. For loved ones outside of your home, try holding video chats, sending homemade cards, or engaging via social media.

When we re-open, the entire Great Wolf Lodge Pack is looking forward to welcoming you, your family, friends and loved ones for a visit, and to giving you that fun-filled getaway your family is craving.
